About The SAND Center
Since 2007, the South Andros Nature Discovery Center has operated as a field station, offering a hands-on learning environment for students, scientists, researchers, and nature aficionados to promote environmental awareness and sustainability, while serving as an educational nucleus. Although our study abroad program and various other initiatives have been operational for years, we took the decision in 2021 to solidify our commitment by establishing ourselves as an official non-profit organization.
